The Paid Search Programme
DevX ran a paid search programme on Google Ads covering office interior design keywords across Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Mumbai, spanning generic intent queries, geo-specific searches, and premium service-type intent — 104 total keywords across three city segments, each representing a different buyer at a different stage of the enquiry process.
We quickly adopted Fibr AI to align our ads with personalized landing pages, achieving great results with minimal effort. We're excited to scale this across our campaigns for increased growth and improved team productivity.

Every Search Was Specific. The Page That Received It Wasn't.
DevX's paid campaigns ran on Google Ads across three cities, targeting buyers through office interior design search terms: generic intent queries like "office interiors near me," geo-specific intent like "office interiors bangalore," and likely premium or service-type intent searches, with each keyword representing a different buyer at a different stage of the decision. Regardless of keyword, city, or ad group, every visitor landed on the same page: the same hero, the same form, the same generic CTA, with no acknowledgement of where they were searching from or what they were looking for.
The Cost of Mismatch
The baseline conversion rate before Fibr was below 3.61%, and bounce rates ran as high as 100% on certain traffic segments. The generic CTAs "Get Free Consultation" and "Get Started" were actively reducing professional authority and lowering conversion intent. The team had already identified the root cause: simple website copies tied to location had to be changed for every city's paid landing pages, but doing that manually at keyword level was not feasible, so every day without a solution was a day of qualified search intent landing on a page built for no one in particular.
The Solution: One URL, a Matched Experience for Every Search
Fibr approached the problem in three steps: surfacing the specific root causes through its learning module, structuring personalization around the signals already present in every search, and deploying 104 matched experiences without a single engineering ticket.
Step 1: The Analysis — Over-Styling and Generic Messaging Were the Culprits
Fibr's learning module surfaced the specific root causes across 207 total variants considered over a 50-day learning period (10 April to 30 May). Aggressive over-styling, including font size and weight increases, was causing bounces, and generic messaging was underperforming consistently. These findings gave the team a clear brief before a single production variant was finalized.
Step 2: The Signals — Keyword Intent, Geo, Ad Group, CTA Copy, Visual Structure
Fibr structured personalization around the signals already present in every campaign. Each of the 104 keywords was mapped to a unique landing page variant, and Fibr also tested visual design elements: CTA button color and style, copywriting, and structural changes including trust signals and sub-elements. CTA backgrounds moved from transparent to solid Deep Blue (#0D47A1), and sub-elements were updated to include privacy policy and service guarantees as trust signals.
Step 3: The Setup — 104 Experiences, One Week from Brief to Live
207 total variants were generated and evaluated over the 50-day learning period, and 85 were selected for analysis. Variants were sorted by confidence level at 90%, 85%, 72%, 65%, and 60%. Winners and losers were determined by engagement rate, bounce rate, conversion rate, and time on page, with no engineering involvement required at any stage.
The New User Experience
Keyword intent, city segment, and DevX's brand guidelines followed the visitor from the first fold, matching the CTA copy, trust signal placement, and visual treatment to the search term they came from — nothing was lost between the ad and the page.
The Results
The controlled test tracked the original (control) against all personalizations (variant) in Fibr's dashboard over a time window of 10 April to 17 June 2026 (approximately 68 days of live data), with a learning period of 10 to 30 April (50 days). The primary and all-personalizations trend lines showed consistent improvement across the full period. Every search carried a location and an intent; the page carried neither, until every screen after the click carried the context of the ad that started it — though results varied significantly by segment and approach.
- Lead conversion
- ↑458% overall lift versus control, sustained across the full 68-day test (3.61% conversion rate, 22 conversions from 610 sessions)
- Bounce rate
- ↓100%, dropped to 0% on Deep Blue CTA styling variants across Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai
- Click rate on page
- ↑25%, more visitors clicking through to the next step, consistent across both campaign runs and traffic splits tested
- Time on page
- 59 seconds, visitors spending twice as long on matched pages versus the generic control page in Campaign 2 test
What This Teaches Us About Paid Search for High-Consideration B2B Services
Three key insights emerged from the DevX programme, covering CTA trust, over-styling, and geo-context in paid search personalization for high-consideration B2B services.
Insight 01: In B2B Service Categories, a Generic CTA Is a Trust Failure
"Get Free Consultation" and "Get Started" were identified as losers. Matched CTAs like "Get Your Free Design Consultation," "Book Free Consultation," and "Get Premium Office Interiors" drove CVR to 25.81% in top cohorts. The CTA is not decoration at the bottom of the fold; it is where intent meets commitment.
Insight 02: Over-Styling Loses Conversions Before the Visitor Even Reads the Copy
Aggressive font size and weight increases were directly causing bounces. Fibr's learning module identified this from variant data, not from a hypothesis. Visual personalization that optimizes styling alongside copy outperformed copy-only changes consistently — what a page looks like is as much a trust signal as what it says.
Insight 03: Geo-Context Converts. Style Without Geo Does Not.
Bangalore cohorts with trust-signal-driven geo-specific content hit 25.81% CVR and 8 conversions. Mumbai variants that used regional headline styling but dropped geo-messaging performed at 88.9% engagement but underdelivered on conversion. For a service business operating across cities, location context is not a supporting element; it is the conversion mechanism itself.
