One visit, four chances to fail

Here’s what happens
when an AI agent visits

Example visit · yourcompany.com

  1. 1

    It knocks.

Firewalls and bot settings can turn it away before it reads a word.

    ChatGPT
    Challenged at the door
  2. 2

    It reads.

It reads your raw page, not your design. Words that load with JavaScript or hide in tabs can go missing.

    Claude
    Read 36% of the homepage
  3. 3

    It looks for answers.

What you do, who it’s for, what it costs, how to start.

    Pricing
    Not found
  4. 4

    It reports back.

Whatever it found, or guessed, is what the buyer hears.

    Claude, to a buyer
“Pricing isn’t public. You may want to compare alternatives.”

Why you’ve never seen this

Would you know if an AI agent couldn’t use your site?

A failed agent visit looks like nothing at all. No error page, no bounce, no lead lost in your CRM. The only way to know is to make the visit yourself.

Questions

What people ask before they check

We visit your homepage the way ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity do. We check whether each agent gets in, how much of the page it can actually read, and whether it can answer the questions a buyer would ask: what you do, who it’s for, what it costs and how to start.

It may, and that’s the point: if your firewall challenges our visit, it’s challenging real AI agents too. The scan is a handful of ordinary page requests, so it won’t affect your site’s performance.

Your score and top fixes are free with no email. We only ask for an email if you want the full report, so we can send it to you and you can share it with your team.

Only sites that score well appear on the leaderboard, and only the domain, category and score are shown. If you’d rather not be listed, contact us and we’ll remove it.

Some fixes are settings you can change yourself, like bot rules in your firewall or CDN. Others touch your site’s code. For those, the report includes a fix prompt your developer can paste into a coding agent.

No. Making your content readable without JavaScript and answering buyer questions clearly tends to help search engines as well as AI agents.

Usually not. Most AI agents don’t run analytics scripts, and a blocked or failed visit leaves no session behind. That’s why these failures stay silent.

An AI agent is an assistant like ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity that visits websites on someone’s behalf, reads them and reports back. More buyers now research products this way before they ever visit your site themselves.

The score combines three things: whether agents get in, how much of your page they can read, and how many buyer questions they can answer from it. Each area is weighted and rolled into a score out of 100.
